Binance has launched Binance Chat, a new in-app messaging feature that integrates real-time social communication with crypto transfers and trading tools, the exchange announced Tuesday.
The feature is built directly into the Binance platform and allows users to chat, transfer crypto assets, and share trading information without leaving the app. Binance describes it as a closed-loop ecosystem for communication and value exchange, positioning it as a social hub layered on top of its existing trading infrastructure.
Key Features
Binance Chat supports one-tap crypto transfers between users, allowing assets to move within conversations in real time. Users can also share Trade Cards — which display trading activity and positions — and send Red Packets, a gifting mechanic common in Asian social and payments platforms, directly within chats.
Group chat functionality is tied to Binance Square, the exchange’s existing social content platform. Users can join creator chatrooms by visiting a creator’s Square profile and tapping the Chatroom option.
How to Access
Binance Chat is accessible via the chat icon in the top corner of the Binance homepage or by searching “Chat” in the app’s search bar. Users can add contacts through Chat ID, UID, or QR code.
The launch extends Binance’s broader push to combine community, content, and financial services within a single platform, following the earlier rollout of Binance Square.
